Drug arrest after traffic stop in Forrestdale, WA

Around 2.20am on Saturday 3 November 2018, Traffic Enforcement Group officers conducted a traffic stop of a Nissan Skyline sedan that was travelling along Ranford Road in Forrestdale.

It is alleged during a search of the vehicle, police located and seized:, WA Police say-

•Over $25,000 in cash;

•Approximately 160grams of Methylamphetamine;

•Two stun guns; and

•Various drug paraphernalia.

As a result of further inquiries by Armadale Detectives, the 29-year-old man from Kewdale was charged with:-

•Possession with Intent to Sell/Supply;

•Possess Drug Paraphernalia;

•Possess Prohibited Weapon;

•Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property;

•Fail to Obey Order Given by an Officer; and

•Return to Prison Warrant.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 4 November 2018.
