DTU Releases New Sustainability Report

Adhering to the ESG framework (Environmental, Social, Governance), the sustainability report assesses environmental, social, and managerial factors. The report offers a comprehensive overview of DTU's sustainability endeavors and outlines the trajectory of the university's ambitions. Grounded in data concerning environmental impact, occupational health and safety, sound business practices and integrity initiatives, and policies and focus areas, the report sets forth initiatives and objectives guiding DTU toward 2025.

"At DTU, we approach sustainability with utmost seriousness. Consequently, our efforts are dedicated to addressing sustainability from environmental, economic, and social perspectives. With the annual sustainability report, we hold each other accountable for our shared commitment to making DTU a responsible place to work and study," says President Anders Bjarklev.

The report describes many specific initiatives that DTU has taken and will continue to take to ensure responsible university operations.

"DTU is dedicated to formulating sustainable solutions that enhance the quality of life for individuals and promote sustainable resource consumption. Hence, research and education at DTU are geared towards shaping a sustainable future. Given the pressing global demand for solutions, this focus is strong and will be even stronger in the future. Our dedication also extends to the ambition of maintaining an organization that demonstrates responsibility at all levels, ensuring our internal affairs are in order," states President Anders Bjarklev.
