East Showers, West Dry and Warm in Weather Forecast

So we'll start off by taking a look at tomorrow's weather map. We do have some tropical humidity that's being drawn inland, creating a cloud band with some scattered showers and storms. Otherwise, the east coast, those winds are turning more onshore, bringing some showers, and then as well, some very light showers are possible through southern areas, but mainly about the windward slopes and coasts. Out in the west, dry and mostly sunny conditions. So let's go around the country now, taking a closer look state by state.

We'll start off with Queensland. It is going to be a cool and chilly start through inland areas, with morning frost patches possible through the southern interior. And those onshore winds are going to bring some moisture through eastern districts, with a partly cloudy day with isolated showers but tending more scattered about the southeast and central coast. There's even the risk of a shower about the east and Darling Downs as well but as we head further inland, dry and sunny conditions. For Brisbane a partly cloudy day with a shower or two and a top of 23 degrees.

Moving on to New South Wales. It's going to be a chilly start inland as well, with morning frost patches throughout central and eastern inland areas, then a partly cloudy day with just some isolated showers about the east coast and ranges, but tending more scattered through northern areas. For Sydney, a partly cloudy day with a shower or two and a top of 18 degrees. For Canberra, morning fog patches and then a partly cloudy day with a top of 15.

Moving on to Victoria. Morning fog patches are possible across the state, with some morning frost patches through those north eastern districts. There's also a risk of a light shower through southern areas on and south of the ranges, but also in the very far north west. For Melbourne, a partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a brief shower, a top of 15 degrees.

Moving on to Tasmania. It is going to be a settled day with light winds and just a slight chance of a light shower through the west coast. For Hobart, a partly cloudy day with a top of 15 degrees.

Moving on to South Australia. There is a risk of light showers through the South East Land Division, mainly about the windward slopes and coast, but as well those scattered showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the very far north-west. For Adelaide, a partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a shower and a top of 17 degrees.

Moving on to WA we've got these scattered showers with rain areas and even a possible storm through the interior. While the eastern Eucla may also see a shower. The South West Land Division, however, dry and mostly sunny for Perth. A sunny day and a top of 23 degrees.

Moving on to the territory, we've got those scattered showers and possible storms in the south, but elsewhere a generally dry and sunny day with just some morning fog patches possible about the top end. For Darwin a sunny day and a top of 23 degrees.

Now just taking a quick look at Sunday. Those showers about the east coast are expected to increase as that south easterly wind really establishes itself. While that cloud band through the interior is expected to weaken, but isolated showers are still possible through the south-west of Queensland and extending into South Australia. It's going to be a really chilly start through the south-east inland areas, including for Victoria and New South Wales, while out in the west, dry and sunny and really starting to warm up.
