Educators to Explore New Learning at Orange Museum

Orange Council

Teachers and educators are invited to connect, collaborate and be inspired at a free Educator Evening at 4pm on Thursday 19 February at Orange Regional Museum.

Join in an enjoyable and informative afternoon of networking while discovering how Orange Regional Museum's growing suite of education programs and resources can support your teaching.

The professional development session is designed for early learning educators, primary and secondary school teachers.

Participants will join a guided tour of Bloomfield: 1925-2025 with curator Dr Mary-Liz Andrews to hear the stories behind the exhibition.

Following the tour, Museum educator Sally MacLennan will share details of the Bloomfield learning programs available for preschool, primary and high school classes.

Participants will have chance to try out some of the hands-on activities included in these excursions.

After the tour, stick around for complimentary refreshments and hear what other exhibitions and opportunities are coming to the Museum in 2026.

Attendance is free but registration is essential.
