The Egyptian Meteorological Museum is a unique institution established to preserve the EMA's ancient holdings, both material and moral, document the Egyptian climate, and promote awareness of meteorological science.
The museum has an exclusive collection of historical climate records dating back to the eighteenth century and atmospheric measuring devices with their line of development over the years to highlight the tremendous developments in the field of meteorological and climate research.
The museum can also be considered as a small-scale research institution on the history of observational sciences for the past two hundred years, fostering intergenerational knowledge exchange, supporting the transfer of observational and forecasting expertise, and highlighting Egypt's contributions to climate action.
