Eight Charged in Major Drug Operation: Strike Force Dulce

Police have charged eight people over their alleged roles in the manufacture and supply of prohibited drugs after more than $5.5 million worth seized following an investigation under Strike Force Dulce.

Strike Force Dulce was established in August 2025 by the Central Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad to investigate the alleged supply of prohibited drugs across Sydney.

During the investigation, strike force detectives identified a group allegedly responsible for the coordination, manufacture and supply of commercial drugs, including ketamine, cocaine, MDMA, and LSD.

Following extensive inquiries, yesterday (Wednesday 18 March 2026, strike force detectives — with assistance from the Central Metropolitan Region, State Crime Command Chemical Operations Unit and the Dog Unit — executed eight search warrants at properties in Potts Point, Earlwood, Dulwich Hill, Leichhardt, Marrickville and Balmain.

About 6.40am, a search warrant was executed at a Potts Point home where officers allegedly located and seized 500g of ketamine, more than 500g of psylocibin and more than $37,000 in cash.

The occupant, a 33-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station.

Just after 7am, search warrants were executed at a Leichhardt music studio, homes at Earlwood and Dulwich Hill, and two Marrickville properties.

At Leichhardt, officers allegedly located and seized about 25kg of ketamine, more than 17kg of cannabis, 2.5kg of cocaine, 3.5kg of MDMA, 5.6kg of diazepam, more than 500g of psilocybin, almost 70g of methamphetamine, over 18,000 tablets believed to contain LSD, and $200,000 cash.

At Earlwood, officers allegedly located and seized MDMA, LSD, cocaine, ketamine, 812 tablets of diazepam, cannabis, $20,000 cash, a flick knife and firearm parts.

The occupants – a 45-year-old man and two women, aged 28 and 61 - were arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station.

At a Marrickville home, officers allegedly located and seized ketamine, MDMA, cocaine, methamphetamine, psylocibin, gummies, CBD oil, prescription medication and almost $16,000 cash.

The occupant, a 38-year-old man was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station.

At a second Marrickville property, police will allege a suspected drug laboratory was located within the premises and with the assistance from officers attached to State Crime Command's Chemical Operations Unit, officers allegedly located and seized almost 500g of MDMA and 330g of ketamine as well as equipment used in the manufacture of prohibited drugs. The seized items will undergo forensic examination.

At Dulwich Hill, officers allegedly located and seized cocaine, mobile phones and more than $25,000 cash.

The occupant, a 37-year-old man was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station.

The 33-year-old Potts Point man has been charged with

  • supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (17 counts),
  • supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (seven counts),
  • deal with property proceeds of crime (three counts),
  • knowingly direct activities of criminal group,
  • fail to comply digital evidence access order direction and
  • restricted substance sold by non-wholesaler.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 7 today (Thursday 19 March 2026).

The 45-year-old Earlwood man has been charged with

  • supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (10 counts),
  • supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity (two counts)
  • supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (eight counts),
  • take part supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (two counts),
  • take part supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity,
  • knowingly deal with proceeds of crime intent to conceal, possess prohibited drug,
  • possess/attempt to prescribed restricted substance,
  • acquire firearm part without authority to do so,
  • possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit,
  • knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and
  • restricted substance sold by non-wholesaler.

The 28-year-old woman has been charged with

  • supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity,
  • supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity (six counts),
  • supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (seven counts),
  • participate criminal group contribute criminal activity,
  • knowingly deal with proceeds of crime intent to conceal,
  • possess prohibited drug,
  • possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance,
  • knowingly deal with proceeds of crime and
  • Restricted substance sold by non-wholesaler.

They were both refused bail and will appear at Burwood Local Court today (Thursday 19 March 2026).

The 61-year-old woman has been charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal group. She was given conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 7 April 2026.

The 38-year-old Marrickville man has been charged with supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (three counts), possess prohibited drug (three counts), and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 6 today (Thursday 19 March 2026).

The 37-year-old Dulwich Hill man has been charged with supply prohibited – commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (seven counts), participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and more than $5000.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 7 today (Thursday 19 March 2026).

As part of further inquiries, a search warrant was executed at a second Marrickville home about 1.20pm, where officers allegedly located and seized cannabis, psylocibin, dexamphetamine and a mobile phone.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station where she was charged with possess prohibited drug (four counts) and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

She was given conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday 16 April 2026.

About 2.20pm, a warrant was executed at a Balmain home, where officers allegedly located and seized about ketamine, cocaine and more than 360 LSD tabs.

A 43-year-old man was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity (two counts), supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity (nine counts), supply prohibited drug (two counts) and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 6 today (Thursday 19 March 2026).

Investigations under Strike Force Dulce continue.
