One person has died after a serious crash in Carterton yesterday, Sunday 20 September.
Police were called to a crash involving three motorcycles and a ute on Carter's line, near Somerset Road, at around 2.55pm.
Sadly, despite best efforts, one person died at the scene.
Another person was transported to hospital in a serious condition, while another person received minor injuries.
The road was closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
