Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in the Riverina region this morning, NSW Police say.
Just after 8am today, police were contacted after a vehicle was found on its roof in bushland off Mary Gilmore Way, about 30km from Coolamon.
It appears the vehicle left the roadway and crashed, catching alight.
Whilst the driver has not yet been formally identified, it’s believed he is a 22-year-old from a town near the Victorian border.
Officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
