Police arrested two people and seized firearms, weapons and drugs after a warrant was executed in Noble Park North this morning.
Police from the Southern Region Division 3 Divisional Response Unit with the assistance of the Southern Region Division 3 Tactical Arrest Team and the Operational Safety Unit Tactical Arrest Team, executed a warrant at an address on Kernot Crescent about 5.40am.
During the searches police allegedly located a firearm, knuckle dusters, imitation firearms, cash and drugs including methylamphetamine, heroin and prescription medication.
A 42-year-old Noble Park North man was charged with possess a drug of dependence, prohibited person possessing an imitation firearm, possessing prohibited weapons and making false documents.
He was bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates' Court on 2 February, 2023.
A 63-year-old Noble Park North man was charged prohibited person possess a handgun and trafficking a drug of dependence.
He has been remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates' Court later today.
