Quotes attributable to Football Australia Chairman, Mr Anter Isaac:

"The past year has been one of strategic renewal and disciplined ambition. We have invested in future-ready foundations, and navigated significant changes across our National Teams-all while continuing to grow commercial strength and community engagement. Though it all, our focus remains clear: to build a football ecosystem that is united, resilient and ready for the future. "

"However, we are not satisfied and look towards continued improvement. That is our obligation to grassroots football and all our football stakeholders.

"Heather Garriock becoming the first woman to lead the organisation, as Interim CEO, will bring an unmatched passion for the game, deep football knowledge, executive acumen and a clear vision for the future. We are confident in her ability to lead Football Australia with strength, unity and a mindset of service that reflects the values of our entire football family."

"2024 was a year of laying the foundation for football's future, with purposeful financial, structural and cultural investment. Despite a reported accounting deficit, our cash position remains strong and sustainable.

"As we look to the horizon, our priorities are clear: finalise the Matildas' new coach, support the Socceroos' World Cup qualification campaign, deliver a successful AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026, and lay the foundation for a truly national second-tier competition - the Australian Championship. We are moving to four-year football cycles to ensure footballing activity is better synchronised with business operations and budget. We continue evolving our digital and physical infrastructure while uniting our football family under the shared values and enduring principles that will define Football's future in Australia."

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Jaclyn Lee-Joe for her service, dedication and commitment to the Board and Football Australia. Jaclyn will always be part of the Football Australia family."
