Free WiFi extended in Greater Shepparton locations

Greater Shepparton City Council, State Government and Telstra announced additional locations for the free WiFi in Greater Shepparton on Monday 16 November.

State Government contributed $1.2 million dollars towards the project to see a number of locations added to the free WiFi network including sites in Mooroopna, Tatura, Toolamba and Murchison.

The new roll out of additional free public WiFi will bring the community together and will enable people to stay connected and work from the wonderful public spaces in Greater Shepparton. The additional locations of WiFi will also help to improve public safety in public spaces.

The WiFi locations listed below have been switched on and are ready for use.

  • Murchison Youth Spot and Public Gardens BBQ area
  • Tatura Mactier Park
  • Tatura Stuart Mock Place
  • Tatura Park Exhibition & Events Arena Main Pavilion and Wilson Hall
  • Mooroopna Ferrari Park Public BBQ Area
  • Victoria Park Lake – Family Precinct Shelter Area
  • Shepparton Showgrounds - Macintosh Centre and Monash Park
  • Shepparton Senior Citizens Centre and
  • Deakin Reserve and Oval Spectators Areas
  • Shepparton Sports City
  • Main Soccer Pavilion and Junior Soccer Pavilion
  • Shepparton BMX and Velodrome
  • Shepparton Sports Stadium
  • Shepparton Netball Outdoor Courts
