Galah Bar goes on air

In March this year, all Border arts and cultural venues ceased their public facing work to help stop the spread of COVID-19. An informal gathering of artists, venues and local producers started meeting each fortnight in a Cultural Industry Round Table to work out how to keep the performing arts alive during the time of shutdown.

One of the outcomes of this group was a desire to collaborate, and now eight cultural institutions and organisations in Albury Wodonga are partnering to present a night of entertainment.

HotHouse's Galah Bar is an eclectic mix of local talent drawn from across the Border region, a perfect event for our time.

Galah Bar ON AIR is an online version Galah Bar, produced by HotHouse Theatre with support from Murray Arts and Nomad Films and live streaming from multiple locations: Albury Entertainment Centre, Albury LibraryMuseum, The Cube Wodonga, Flying Fruit Fly Circus and Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA).

You can sit by the fire and enjoy a great a line up of indie music, storytelling, circus, comedy and more with Alyce Fisher as MC.

Galah Bar ON AIR is the best of the Border's talent all flying in to your small screen.

Tickets are only $10 or $25 for the household.

There is also a dinner and a show collaboration with 'A Night Out, In' and La Maison Café and Restaurant.
