Geelong City Market Welcomes Community Groups

A spot among the bustle of the Geelong City Market is up for grabs for community groups each Saturday.

The City of Greater Geelong will provide the space and a 3x3 marquee, not-for-profit organisations just need to bring the community spirit.

Community organisations, arts and sporting clubs, multicultural societies, support networks and special interest groups are invited to register for the opportunity to promote their services and activities, fundraise, and make new connections at the market.

The Geelong City Market is a place where people come together, and this opportunity allows local clubs to share what they do. By offering this space, we're strengthening the sense of community that's at the very heart of the market and makes our region such a great place to live.

The Geelong City Market, which launched in October last year, is a weekly showcase of quality local produce, food and beverage, creativity and music.

So far, the free site has been used by Victoria Police, Tourism Greater Geelong & the Bellarine and the City's project engagement teams.

One of the best things about this market is always discovering something new. Every week the market brings something a little different, and community groups are a welcome part of that.

The Geelong City Market is on each Saturday 9am-2pm in Little Malop Central.

Community groups can register their interest to host a stall via this form .
