A woman missing from Maroubra has been located safe and well after police issued an SMS geo-targeting alert earlier this evening.
The 55-year-old woman was last seen in Maroubra about 1.15pm today (Friday 27 October 2023).
Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified when she was unable to be located.
Police subsequently issued a public appeal for information and an SMS geo-targeting alert to the Maroubra area at 10.32pm.
Within a matter of minutes the woman was located safe and well by several members of the public at Maroubra - who had received the SMS alert and notified police.
Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
