After opening Glen Waverley Library Express last week, we're pleased to confirm Glen Waverley Children's Library is now also open!
Our new temporary library sites will provide reduced, but essential library services to our community until we open a bigger, better Glen Waverley Library in 2028.
Glen Waverley Children's Library (Black Flat Community Hall, 685 Waverley Road)
A dedicated space for the children's collection with:
- Chinese storytime sessions expected to resume in August.
- Regular Storytime and Babytime to commence later in 2026.
- An after-hours returns chute is located at rear of the hall.
Our new temporary sites are part of Council's $110 million Glen Waverley Civic Precinct Project which will transform the heart of Glen Waverley.
We recognise that temporary relocating this service may cause some disruption, but we remain committed to providing the best possible customer experience during this time.
We look forward to delivering a bigger, better Glen Waverley Library for our community.
