Grants available to support Territory artists

The Territory Labor Government is unlocking creativity in the arts sector, offering grants designed to support emerging talents; foster innovation in the arts; provide skills and employment; and support community access and participation.

Applications are now open for Arts Industry Development Grants and Arts Projects Grants.

The Arts Industry Development grants provide funding of up to $20,000 for organisations to develop innovative and experimental projects that increase the accessibility, capacity and sustainability of the arts sector.

Under the title 'unchARTed', the grants promote innovation and growth, inviting applications to three categories: Accessible Arts, Audience Diversification and Digital Capability.

Funded applicants will develop new initiatives that diversify audiences, expand reach, and embrace new technologies.

The Arts Projects Round 2 grants offer funding of up to $20,000 to individuals and organisations. These grants support arts projects that focus on:

presentation, exhibition, distribution, and promotion of NT arts practice;development of skills, knowledge and experience (including building digital skills); andresearch, development or creation of new work.

Emerging artists can also apply for up to $15,000 to develop new work, showcase their talent or enhance their skills.

Key dates:

Arts Industry Development grants: applications close 4 March 2024.Arts Projects Round 2: submissions close 11 March 2024.
