Eight NT Fire and Rescue Service firefighters and 4 vehicles attended the scene and worked to contain the grass fire, which burned an estimated 5000 square metres of grass and vegetation.
There were no reported injuries and no homes or structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire was declared under control at approximately 6:15pm, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Watch Commander David Lines said the quick response of firefighters helped prevent the fire from spreading further.
"Firefighters acted quickly to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading and helping to protect nearby residents and properties," he said.
