Griffith City Council has switched over to a new phone system making it faster and easier for the community to contact Council.
The new phone number, 1300 176 077, has been rolled out as a result of recent upgrades to Council's telephone system.
Griffith Mayor, Councillor John Dal Broi said, the system will improve communication between staff and customers.
"Our customer service centre is generally the first point of contact for our customers, our aim is to deliver a better customer experience through greater reliability and availability when customers call," Cr Dal Broi said.
Griffith City Council can be contacted for general enquiries via phone on 1300 176 077 between 8.15am and 4pm Monday - Friday.
Council's previous number will still connect through to this new system, however residents are urged to use the new 1300 number.
