Grow Greener Manningham This National Tree Day

Manningham Council

Manningham residents are preparing to roll up their sleeves for National Tree Day on Sunday 26 July at Mullum Mullum Reserve.

Following a record turnout in 2025, this year's community planting will bring locals together to restore habitat and strengthen one of our key habitat corridors.

Manningham Mayor, Councillor Jim Grivas, said National Tree Day is a great opportunity for the community to come together while supporting the local environment.

"Planting indigenous trees helps restore our natural habitat and creates a healthier environment for future generations,"

"It's also one of our most-loved community events, bringing together school students, community and conservation groups, and people from many faiths and cultures," Cr Grivas said.

All tools, equipment and plants will be provided, with our parks officers on hand to guide participants and share planting advice.
