Have voice in Decade of Indigenous Languages

We're calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) to join this important Directions Group, to help with ideas and activities for Australia's participation in the UNESCO International Decade of Indigenous Languages, from 2022 to 2032.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a strong interest or experience in Indigenous languages are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity, which is a paid role with costs covered for travel and accommodation.

The group will work with government to build on the success of the 2019 International Year of Indigenous Languages in raising awareness of the crucial role languages play in people's daily lives.

The EOI is open until Sunday 6 March 2022, 11.59pm (AEDT) and details on how to apply are on our International Decade of Indigenous Languages Directions Group webpage.
