The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) recently held the kick-off ceremony for the "35 for Life" campaign, marking the launch of this meaningful year-long blood donation campaign. In partnership with the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, the University will organize 35 blood drives across its Clear Water Bay and Guangzhou campuses. The first three-day blood drive (March 5 to 7) attracted over 300 faculty, students, and alumni from both campuses.
As one of HKUST's 35th-anniversary celebration initiatives, this campaign brings together the compassion of the University community and channels it into meaningful support for the public good. It also reflects HKUST's commitment to advancing healthcare innovation as the University prepares for the establishment of its new medical school.
