Darwinites can holiday at home at the new Waterfront Beach Club every day in June.
The new Beach Club will showcase the best of the Waterfront's food and drinks in a new tropical beachside setting.
The lawns will be scattered with nautical daybeds, sun-lounges, family-sized outdoor lounges, ottomans, soft furnishings, festoon lighting and other insta-worthy photo settings. There will also be chilled lounge and house tunes all day and into the evenings every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in June.
"There's never been a better time to live in Darwin, and we want to celebrate our amazing tropical lifestyle right here in our backyard," Paola McCarthy, Events and Marketing Manager said.
"The simple addition of free sun lounges by the lagoon has already been well-received by customers enjoying takeaway food and drinks, and we're stepping this up by creating our very own Beach Club with more unique ways for locals to enjoy the Waterfront's beautiful beachside parklands."
Beach Club goers can order food and drinks from a centralised webpage, without leaving the comfort of their lounge, and receive a notification on the webpage when food is ready to collect at the restaurant.
"Think tacos and sangria from Hot Tamale, banh mi and cocktails from CHOW, oysters and white wine from the Oyster Bar or pasta and red wine from Bella Fresh. With a variety of different restaurant and cafes participating, there's plenty of food and drink choices to suit everyone's tastes anytime of the day."
