Homicide investigation at Morayfield

Police have begun a homicide investigation after a woman in her 20's died in Morayfield this morning, January 28.

Emergency services were called to the Grant Road property just after midnight, following reports a woman had been shot.

Emergency services attempted to assist the woman, however she died at the scene.

The property and a related vehicle have been declared crime scenes, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.

An 18-year-old Morayfield man is currently assisting police with enquiries.
