House destroyed by fire - South Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance following a suspicious fire at a home on the state's South Coast yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Bannister Head Road, Mollymook Beach, about 2.45am (Sunday 18 December 2022), following reports of a house well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze; however, the home was extensively damaged.

The home was unoccupied at the time and there were no reports of injury.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the cause of the blaze, which is being treated as suspicious.
