Melbourne, VIC – 2 June 2025 – Imaging Associates, in partnership with the Carlton Football Club, is proud to unveil a new world-class medical imaging centre today, located at the Club's home, IKON Park.
Imaging Associates Carlton will be accessible to the public, providing high-quality radiology services to the broader community as well as enabling on-site imaging for the Carlton Football Club — a first for an Australian AFL Club.
Located on the left-side of the IKON Park main building, Imaging Associates Carlton will provide a comprehensive range of imaging services and include a focus on women's health, sports and spinal imaging, and injury treatment and prevention research.
This new centre represents a significant expansion of Imaging Associates' network and a major investment in healthcare access and innovation in Melbourne's inner north.
The new flagship clinic is positioned as a Centre of Excellence in Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Women's Health Imaging, offering a full suite of diagnostic services to both elite athletes and the broader community. It will be led by Dr Mark Rassie, Imaging Associates' Clinical Director for Carlton and MSK Lead, who also oversees game day imaging for the Carlton Football Club.

Carlton CEO Brian Cook said Imaging Associates Carlton is part of a long-standing vision for the club and will have wide-reaching benefits for athletes and the community.

Imaging Associates Carlton will offer state-of-the-art scanning services, including 3T MRI for soft tissue and sports injury imaging, 3D Mammography the gold standard in mammography, Low Dose CT, Calcium Scoring, and general CT, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Image-Guided Procedures. It will also provide bulk billing for eligible scans and allow walk-in and same-day appointments.
To further enhance patient outcomes, Imaging Associates is investing heavily in clinical services and technology innovations over the coming year. This includes strengthening capabilities across MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and digital X-ray, while maintaining its unwavering commitment to people-first, precision-driven care.
Founded in 2008, Imaging Associates is known for combining specialist radiology expertise with patient-centred service.
