Important update on Cobbitty Bridge

Mark it in your calendars - Cobbitty Bridge is set to reopen by Monday 27 February.

Motorists are warned that, while the bridge may appear fit for use to the untrained eye, there are still works vital to the safety of users to be completed. Remaining works include construction of road pavement, installation of new guardrail, line marking, verge shaping and landscaping.

Camden Council would like to extend its thanks to the Camden community for their patience while these repair works have been underway.

Cobbitty Bridge, located on the boundary between Wollondilly and Camden local government areas, sustained significant damage following the July 2022 flood event, which was the largest flood of the four that occurred last year.

The reconstruction and filling of the Cobbitty Bridge approach has recently been completed, including the concrete connection slab from the bridge to the road pavement.
