Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near Mount Zahel and Mount Cooper, Ingoldsby. This is part of a large bushfire burning between Thornton and Lefthand Branch. Residents in those areas should refer to separate bushfire warnings issued for their area. Crews are working with local landowners to contain the fire. There is no threat to property at this time. Smoke may affect surrounding areas. Residents are advised to close windows and doors, and those suffering from a respiratory condition should keep their medications close by. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned there property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
