This new ASPI explainer introduces the Intervention Opportunity Framework, a way of thinking about strategy through the finite time available to influence events before meaningful choices disappear. Institutional processes consume strategic time: recognising a problem, securing authority, mobilising capability and executing a response all occur while competitors, technologies, markets and crises continue to evolve.
