Very hot temperatures are set to soar over the next few days, with most of NSW in a severe heatwave by the end of the week.
In NSW, conditions will worsen this week, with heatwave conditions set to descend across the state and the Australian Capital Territory from Wednesday onwards.
Across Thursday, Friday and Saturday, nearly the entire state of NSW will be sweltering under a severe heatwave, with patches of extreme heatwave conditions.
The NSW SES continues to support NSW RFS with their response to the ongoing fires, with many volunteers being deployed to assist in a number of key roles across the state.
