Police are appealing for public assistance to locate James Polson.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the 27-year-old following a serious-injury crash in Laverton on 5 April.
It is alleged Polson was riding a stolen motorbike with a pillion passenger onboard when he crashed on Bladin Street, leaving the passenger with serious injuries.
Polson is known to frequent the Melton, Taylors Hill, Kings Park, Werribee and Ballarat areas.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a thin build, brown eyes, black hair and has a large tattoo on the left side of his neck.
Investigators have released an image of Polson in the hope that someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
