Johns Hopkins University Welcomes Class of 2027

Johns Hopkins University

Johns Hopkins University's incoming class of first-year undergrads assembled on Keyser Quad last week for an Orientation tradition, the annual class photo.

The Class of 2027—more than 1,300 new students altogether—arranged themselves neatly to spell out "JHU 27" for the big shot. And wouldn't you know, we somehow managed to get everyone looking at the camera! And with their eyes open!

This year's incoming class includes individuals from 37 countries on six continents; 46 states and three U.S. territories are represented. More than 19% of the new students are the first-generation, meaning they are the first in their families to attend college.
