Two people have been charged in relation to traffic offences across Ipswich and Brisbane on 31 July.
Around 7.25pm, police attended an unrelated matter on Spencer Street in Redbank when officers observed a man and a woman leaving the scene in a Mercedes sedan.
Police tracked the Mercedes as it travelled eastbound toward Brisbane.
The driver of the Mercedes is alleged to have been driving dangerously and at high speed as police continued to track the vehicle.
Officers successfully deployed a tyre deflation device shortly before the Mercedes entered the Moorooka area.
It is alleged the driver, a 30-year-old man, continued driving for a period of time before exiting the vehicle and being taken into custody.
The passenger, a 29-year-old Alderley woman, is alleged to have then left the scene in the Mercedes.
Officers successfully deployed a second tyre deflation device, bringing the car to a stop and she was taken into custody.
The Mount Gravatt Property Crime Team has charged the man with nine offences, including two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence.
He appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 3 August.
The 29-year-old woman has been charged by the Mount Gravatt Tactical Crime Squad with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and appeared at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 31 August.
