Key Assets Australia will continue to lead and deliver child and family wellbeing services on Norfolk Island, providing continuity and stability in this critical area.
Following the recent tender process, Key Assets Australia has been awarded an initial two-year contract which commenced 1 July 2026.
Under the contract, Key Assets Australia will lead, manage and deliver the services of the Child and Family Wellbeing Unit at NI-Connect, supporting Norfolk Island families to provide the best possible environment, experiences and care for children and young people.
These services include community education, parenting support, early intervention, case management, investigation of child safety concerns, family mediation, statutory intervention, emergency accommodation and support for out-of-home care placements.
Key Assets will work closely with local families and the broader community, in collaboration with services such as childcare providers, Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Service, Norfolk Island Central School, police, Norfolk Island Regional Council and governments.
Through this partnership approach, we will support the ongoing delivery of high-quality services tailored to needs of Norfolk Island community.
