Kingsley serious assault

Joondalup Detectives are seeking information to assist with their investigation into the assault of a woman in Kingsley on Saturday, 26 October 2019.

Around 1.50am, a woman in her 30s was cycling along Twickenham Drive and as she cycled past a group of people who were standing on the corner of Edgeware Close and Twickenham Drive, one member of the group knocked her off her bicycle.

As she was lying on the ground the offender kicked her to the face and demanded money before the group walked away. The woman received serious facial injuries requiring surgery.

The offender is described as male, 15 to 17 years old, with a medium build and 162cms tall. The rest of the group consisted of males and females aged 15 to 20 years.

Detectives are urging anyone who was in the area or saw the incident or the group, or has dash-cam vision of the area taken around the above time, to come forward.
