Labor has already helped more than 3.6 million Victorians get 20% off their rego.
Now, the Carroll Labor Government is extending the time Victorians have to access the cost-of-living help.
Victorians will now have until 31 August to apply.
This is real, targeted cost of living help for families doing it tough right now because only Labor has the solutions to make life easier and more affordable for Victorians.
Here's how it works:
- A driver with one car gets up to $186 back
- A family with two cars gets up to $372 back
- You get the full rebate whether you pay yearly or in instalments.
To be eligible, Victorians need to have paid their registration for a light vehicle for personal use between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026. You can claim for up to two vehicles in your name.
Jess Wilson's One Nation-Liberal Coalition didn't back this rebate.
Instead, Jess Wilson would unleash $40 billion of cuts on the Victorian economy - costing jobs and cutting services.
