Launceston man charged with Miena shack burglaries

Launceston CIB today charged a 44 year Launceston man with a total of 15 charges in connection to a number of holiday homes that were targeted in Miena in late March this year.

The charges include 7 counts of aggravated burglary & 6 counts of stealing. The 44 year man was granted bail and is to appear in Launceston Magistrates Court on 21 August 2019.

This is the second person who has been charged in connection to this crime series.

In May this year, a woman was charged with almost 100 charges including the Miena burglaries.
