The theme of this winter's Shop in our Shire campaign is 'Layer up local'. Warm up at home by layering new woolly socks with a good book, layer up shared dishes and drinks with friends at a local restaurant, or layer up your winter cooking with fresh veggies and meats from our local food stores.
Mayor Naomi Joiner said Council's Shop in our Shire promotion helps shine a light on the wonderful range of local businesses in Nillumbik.
"From cafes to gift shops, hairdressers to wellness hubs, clothes, homewares and everything in between, the small locally owned businesses throughout the Shire have you covered," Cr Joiner said.
"Our urban and rural communities are full of exciting eateries and hidden retail gems. Explore, find a new favourite spot, and go in the running to win a voucher," she said.
