Leeton Shire Council advises that No Parking restrictions will soon be introduced in St Peters Lane to improve safety, accessibility, and access for all road users.

The change follows a review of traffic conditions within the laneway, which identified issues with vehicles parking in a manner that can restrict access for waste collection services, delivery vehicles, emergency services, and nearby property owners.

The installation of No Parking signage will help ensure the laneway remains clear and accessible, while also improving visibility and reducing potential safety risks associated with obstructed vehicle movements.

Once the signage is installed, motorists will be required to comply with the new restrictions, and enforcement may be undertaken in accordance with NSW road rules.

Signage is scheduled to be installed on Monday 2nd November 2026.

Leeton Shire Council appreciates the cooperation and understanding of residents and visitors as these improvements are implemented to enhance safety and access within the community.
