Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Lesmurdie yesterday, Thursday 2 February 2023.
About 4.05pm, a Ford Truck towing an empty trailer was being driven west on Crystal Brook Road, heading towards Fontano Road. At a bend in the road the truck crossed to the opposite side of the road, crashed through safety barriers and continued down an embankment into an adjoining valley.
The 50-year-old male driver of the truck died at the scene.
