Lithgow Council Embraces Waste Strategy 2022-2026

The Lithgow City Council has finalised a Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy 2022-2026 after seeking community input.

The Waste Strategy identifies the local challenges in waste management and sets out local solutions. The adoption of the Strategy will guide the Council's delivery of waste services and facilities that meet the needs of the community today, and in the future.

"I am very please with the Lithgow City Council Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy 2022-2026" said Lithgow Council Mayor, Councillor Maree Statham. "This Council is committed to delivering best practice waste services and facilities to the community that are accessible, affordable, equitable and sustainable. I look forward to the benefits this Strategy will provide to our community into the future."
