Romeo & Juliet is set as a modern-bohemian romance put to Kiwi and Australian music. And Macbeth has a sassy, sexy, bluegrass twist. Until 1 June

To this day, Bachelor Girl's ARIA award-winning debut album Waiting for the Day is a much-loved, critically acclaimed Aussie pop/rock album of the late 90s. The reimagining of the 'redux' album sees the duo transforming the 15-track body of work from their original productions into an eclectic range of modern-day flavours of pop/punk, country, soul and ambient electronica. 13 and 14 June
Promise & Promiscuity (cabaret, comedy, theatre)
Don't miss this witty and charming performance. Flushed by successes from Edinburgh, Adelaide, Toronto and beyond, comes New Zealander Penny Ashton's collaboration with Jane Austen (deceased), read interpretation of Jane Austin. Celebrate Austen's 250th birthday by joining our musical heroine Elspeth, as she battles literary snobbery, cousin Horatio's digestions and her mother's nerves, armed only with a blushing countenance, excellent ukulele skills and being quite bright, you know for a girl.
Welcome Home (theatre, comedy)
Home is where I live, isn't it? Past and present collide in Meg McNena's new comedy drama about holding onto your place in the world. A rogue robot-vac, bossy gadgets and a grumpy home-helper who thinks she owns the place, battle elderly Joyce. She returns home from a long hospitalisation to a renovated smart-house. What could possibly go wrong? 18 to 28 June
