Looking out for local youth all year round - City of Casey

If you enjoyed the summer Holiday Fun program run by the Youth Information Centre, don't worry - the fun doesn't stop just because school is back.

Councils' Youth Information Centres are open all year round and provides a safe space for young people aged 10-25 to socialise, access services and find information on everything from health issues to education pathways.

Inside there's plenty to keep young people entertained with iPads, Play Station 4, games, table tennis, and at the Narre Warren centre there's also a pool table and outdoor basketball ring for those who love to stay active shooting hoops.

There are also heaps of programs that run each term and in the school holidays there's a packed timetable of free events suitable for a range of ages and interests.

Each centre is supervised by at least two youth workers who can assist young people, parents, caregivers, and professional services with information, referral and support about local services and current issues facing young people.

Local youth can also access Counselling and Support Service from each of the centres.

There are three Youth Information Centres across the City of Casey and the Casey 360 mobile youth Information Centre that visits local schools and events.
