Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Maddington this morning, 15 March 2021.
About 8.40am, a truck and trailer travelling south on the Tonkin Highway, crossed to the incorrect side of the road and hit a tree.
The driver and sole occupant, a 63-year-old man, was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital but died a short time later.
