Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad have charged three men in relation to a home invasion incident that took place in Maddington on Thursday, 13 May 2021.
Around 1:55pm, three men identifying as OMCG members arrived at an address in Maddington and made threats towards a female occupant about an alleged pre-existing debt.
The three men then stole keys to a vehicle and left the address.
The matter was investigated by Gang Crime Squad detectives who subsequently laid the following charges:
A 44-year-old man from Duncraig was charged with:
- One count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit Offence (Dwelling)
- One count of Stealing
- One count of Demanding Property by Oral Threats.
He is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 30 July 2021.
A 26-year-old man from Whitby was charged with:
- One count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit Offence (Dwelling)
- One count of Stealing
- One count of Demanding Property by Oral Threats.
He is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 18 August 2021.
A 23-year-old man from Thornlie was charged with:
- One count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit Offence (Dwelling)
- One count of Stealing
- One count of Demanding Property by Oral Threats.
He is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 5 July 2021.
