MEDIA RELEASE 7 August 2026

Deicorp Opens Kings Bay Village Sales Suite Following 600 Registrations of Interest

Sales at Kings Bay Village will officially commence this Saturday, 8 August, following strong buyer interest and a successful community open day attended by around 500 prospective purchasers, local residents and members of the broader Five Dock community.

Held last weekend at the project's new Display Suite at 75 Queens Road, Five Dock, the preview event gave visitors their first look at the major Inner West urban renewal project. The strong turnout builds on significant early demand, with around 600 registrations of interest received ahead of the commencement of sales.

Set across a 31,300 square metre site within the Kings Bay Precinct, Kings Bay Village is one of the largest mixed-use urban renewal developments ever proposed for Sydney's Inner West.

Designed by award-winning architects TURNER on behalf of Deicorp, the project will deliver:

  • 1,185 apartments across six architecturally designed buildings
  • More than 200 affordable homes for key workers, including police officers, nurses and teachers
  • 14,700 square metres of retail and commercial space, including a supermarket, cafés, restaurants and health services
  • More than 6,500 square metres of parks and publicly accessible open space
  • A 2,290 square metre landscaped village green and civic plaza
  • Pedestrian laneways, landscaped courtyards and a covered marketplace
  • More than $80 million in contributions towards new and upgraded local infrastructure.

HOUSING FOR EVERY STAGE OF LIFE

Kings Bay Village has been designed as a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly neighbourhood where homes, shops, dining, health services and public spaces come together to create a genuine village atmosphere. Offering a diverse mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, Kings Bay Village will provide quality housing opportunities for people at every stage of life, including:

  • First home buyers taking their first step onto the property ladder
  • Young families seeking a connected, amenity-rich neighbourhood
  • Owner-occupiers looking for convenient, low-maintenance living
  • Downsizers wanting to remain close to established amenities and services
  • Investors seeking long-term opportunities, backed by established property investment settings.

The project will also make a significant contribution to addressing Sydney's housing affordability challenge through the delivery of more than 200 affordable homes for key workers, helping police officers, nurses, teachers and other essential workers live closer to where they work.

CATALYSING THE TRANSFORMATION OF PARRAMATTA ROAD

Deicorp Founder and Chairman, Fouad Deiri said Kings Bay Village would play a defining role in shaping the future of Five Dock and the wider Parramatta Road corridor.

"Kings Bay Village is about much more than delivering new homes. It is about creating a genuine neighbourhood where people can live, work, shop and connect in a vibrant village environment, with parks, cafés, restaurants, everyday services and excellent public transport all within easy walking distance," Mr Deiri said.

"Whether you're buying your first home, raising a family, downsizing or investing, Kings Bay Village has been designed to offer something for everyone and create a connected and sustainable community that will serve Five Dock for generations."

Four additional residential developments in the immediate vicinity of Kings Bay Village have either been approved or are progressing through the planning system and are expected to deliver around 1,900 additional homes.

Together, these developments will create a critical mass of more than 3,000 new homes to underpin the long-term revitalisation of the Parramatta Road corridor and support new businesses, better public transport, new public spaces and a thriving local economy.
