Major Headline Act Announced For Boots N' Beats

Boots n Beats 2026 Social Tile HEADLINE ANNOUNCEMENT COUNTDOWN V5 07

Dust off your boots and tune up your twang - country superstar James Johnston is headlining Boots n' Beats!

One of Australia's leading contemporary country artists, James is known for his raw vocals and down-to-earth storytelling rooted in regional life. He broke onto the country music scene with his song Raised Like That and became the first independent Australian country artist to achieve an ARIA Platinum single.

With millions of streams, multiple Golden Guitar wins, a chart-topping debut album and his sophomore album recently awarded the top selling ARIA Charts Australian Country Album for 2025, James has quickly cemented his place as a powerful voice in modern Australian country music.

James said he couldn't wait for the upcoming event.

"I'm so excited to come and play Boots n' Beats Festival this June," he said.

"I can't wait to hit the stage, turn it up, and share a huge night of music with you all in Camden. Let's go!"

Set against the backdrop of Camden's country roots, Camden Council's much-loved Boots n' Beats will be held on Saturday 13 June, 2-8pm, at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park. The event will feature local and nationally renowned country music artists, delicious country-style food and drinks, local craft beers and ciders, kids' entertainment and activities, Boots n' Beats branded merch, amusements and so much more.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said James was the kind of news worth hollerin' from the hilltops.

"This event is such a big and exciting one for our community, and so many people who come from right across Sydney to be part of the action," she said.

"Boots n' Beats is all about getting good people together to enjoy good music, good food and a good time. James fits that bill perfectly and I know he'll create an incredible atmosphere.

"I can't wait to see everyone at the event having a great time!"

Further event details, ticket information and other announcements will be released soon, and residents are encouraged to keep an eye on Council's website and social media pages.
