Man Charged After Drugs, Cash Seized in North Bondi

Police have seized large quantities of illicit substances and arrested one man following the execution of a search warrant in Sydney's east yesterday.

About 8.30am on Wednesday 18 March 2026, officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command — with assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad (PORS) and the Dog Unit — executed a search warrant at a home on Old South Head Road, North Bondi, as part of an ongoing investigation into drug supply in the area.

During the search, police seized almost 5kg of ketamine, 5.5kg of psilocybin, 515 LSD tablets, 330g of cocaine, identification documents, and more than $210,000 cash.

The occupant – a 31-year-old man – was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station and charged with 24 offences,

  • Possess prohibited (10 counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug more than large commercial quantity (four counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug more than small and less than indictable quantity (three counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug more than commercial quantity (two counts)
  • Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime (two counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity,
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100000 and less than $5000,
  • Possess identity information to commit indictable offence.

He was refused bail and will appear before Bail division Court 6 today (Thursday 19 March 2026)
