Man Charged in Lake Macquarie Drug Supply Bust

A man has been charged following an investigation into alleged drug supply offences in Lake Macquarie.

Strike Force Prazz was established by the Hunter Region Enforcement Squad to investigate drug supply offences.

On Thursday 18 June 2026, police executed a search warrant at a storage unit in Bennetts Green, where officers located and seized almost 1.4kg of methamphetamine, with an estimated potential street value of $200,000

Following further inquiries, police attended a home in Belmont North about 9.15am yesterday (Monday 22 June 2026).

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Belmont Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (greater than large commercial quantity).

The man was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 2 today (Tuesday 23 June 2026).
