Man charged over two alleged armed robberies in Terrigal

A man has been charged following an investigation into two alleged armed robberies on the NSW Central Coast earlier this year, NSW Police say.

About 9.40am today, officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command arrested a 19-year-old man at a home on Anniversary Avenue, Terrigal.

He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery armed with offensive weapon.

The man was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court today, where he was granted conditional bail to reappear at Gosford Local Court on 12 July 2016.

Police will allege the robberies occurred on Friday 6 May 2016 and Friday 29 April 2016 at a bottle shop on Terrigal Drive.
