Man Charged With High-Range PCA After Greenacre Crash

A man has been charged after being involved in a crash in Sydney's southwest at the weekend.

About 9.15pm yesterday (Sunday 31 May 2026), emergency services were called to Waterloo Road, Greenacre, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area command attended and found a Toyota had crashed into a building and a parked car before coming to a stop in nearby bushes.

The driver – a 70-year-old man - was uninjured and subjected to a roadside breath test, which allegedly returned a positive result.

He was arrested and taken to Revesby Police Station where a secondary breath analysis was conducted and returned an alleged reading of 0.151.

The man was issued a field court attendance notice for drive with high range PCA and is due to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 15 July 2026.

His license was also suspended.
